Wii U Kiosk System successfully region-unlocked

I actually tried hacking a Wii U that was on display at the Game City in Vienna and got as far as launching it and let it open just for a Nintendo employee to see it haha. They were kinda confused at first when they saw it :P Seems like it wasn't a Kiosk unit but a full retail one.

I launched the browser and the homebrew channel but nothing more, took around a minute and then went away before they saw me but still stayed in reach to see what they're going to do next :P

could of been a Cat-i with the old WiiUMenuChanger on it, since the old WMC's didn't have Systemconfigtool. but now they do. after all thats how you install HBL just dev sign it with the sdk and boom no cfw needed lmao

(2:10) I never saw the placeholder icons and game splash screens for Wii U before, and I'm guessing that there's "DUMMY TV" for the game splash screen on the primary display and "DUMMY DRC" for the game splash screen on the secondary display (GamePad display)

Mario Maker Reverse Enginner/Modder here, is it possible for you to send me a dump of the demo Mario maker so I can look around for what's different? In the code already, there's a kiosk/trial mode, but using it crashes the game due to assets not being there.

Where did you learn how to do all this stuff like building all the programs to make this work? How do you know exactly what to do and how to do it? Do you have any type of degree that helps or makes you understand this stuff or have you just learned it on your own? What kind of stuff do you need to know about how to understand and decide what and how exactly to make your programs work and how to make this happen?

hey great, you have the backups of the update disk of the wii u kiosk, as I do not have a dedicated me to install retail software in full games and go without any problem when repacking with the common key DEV, the problem is when it deals with the acutalization of the game, as the console does not download from the servers of nientendo, because the WiiUMenuChanger is designed. I try to package the update that I downloaded with the NUS Graber, the encrypts it okey recognizes the installation package and proceeds to install it, when running it is supposed that the updated game crashes, I use the same SDK to package again but not managed to solve it, I you've got your hand on something like your wii u kiosk / CAT-R

It was the sound for wiiu apps starting up. If they didn't have they're own sound it would play 1:49

Its the sound of Wii U media apps (Netflix, YT, Minecraft, etc) when they're launched
