I bought a Wii U last year. Homebrew on it, and it’s one of the best emulators. Playing DS games on the big screen with the DS touchpad on the gamepad is awesome.

Hey even without the eShop and Nintendo Network the Wii U still has an amazing catalog of games and with many of them in my personal opinion is the definitive version. And the best way to play Wii games. So whom ever this is made a great choice in my opinion. 😊

I bought Wii U this year, second hand but still. Its great, it can play GameCube, Wii, Ds, and bunch more games. Its great value for low price. It's in my living room now, hooked to the TV, but my room is right next doors so I can play games on gamepad in bed no problem. To me that's selling point too.

I swear I think I know who bought it.... so I'm a speech therapist and I work with this kid who was telling me a while back that he wanted a Wii U. I didn't think much of it, just that it was kind of weird since it's 2023 and he has a switch already. Well, he ended up getting one and I gave him a bunch of my old games like 2 or 3 weeks ago and he's been loving it. Currently he's playing paper Mario and talks to me about his progress in the game during every session. Just not sure if he bought it new or used so I'll ask him on Monday

I was considering buying a wii u actually, from what I have seen it is one of the best consoles to mod, I already have a modded wii and with that I can play gamecube games on it and wii games(I have a family wii so I shouldnt be able to play gamecube games), with a modded wii u you get three generations since the virtual wii can be modded to have gamecube support, the other emulators you can have on the console is also pretty wild, other than the steam deck or pc from what I have seen its the best way to play alot of retro games all in one place
