Pit has *wayyy* too many overpowered moves. His flying blue wings go forever. If you hit his shield with a straight projectile, it will come right back and insta-kill you. His Angel Ring is not only super spammy, but it also reflects projectiles, so you can pretty much just hold it there and your opponent has to either get hit, or try to go over you, but then you can use your light arrows up at him. His light arrows can also be spammed a lot. And his Final Smash is extremely hard to dodge.

Choosing random character increase the load times probably because of the RNG it goes through to pick a character, so choosing random on all four is probably what the problem is. Some stages take a bit longer but not too bad. I know you cant use GC controllers without a 3rd party adapter but I think the Wii U decreases the load times significantly.

I don't understand the logic of playing stock instead of time. Playing stock, there will be times where one or two players are forced to sit out, and the best strategy is to try to avoid the fighting to preserve yourself for when everyone else has killed each other off. In timed everyone plays the whole match and you need to get kills to win.

but if everyone does that nothing happens. It is best to use both stock and time together.

Well, you might find yourself unable to avoid opponents but it's still in your best interests to avoid them. If the winner is decided by who is alive, it's far more important to protect your own life, let everyone else kill each other. If the winner is decided by highest number of kills, it's important to get out there and cause as much grief for others as you can, knock them off the stage - while avoiding it yourself.
