Wiim Ultra Unboxing

Hi everyone. As an early spoiler, before I make my video review, which will be short and straight to the point, even the Wiim Pro using an external DAC sounds better than the Wiim Ultra built in DAC. I was using the coax digital output. Optical, very close, but to me, the coax sounded better. Hopefully, I will have the video up by Monday. Hola. Una pregunta bajo mi ignorancia en esto. Tengo un Marantz 40n que ya viene completo. Pero me gusta el wiim ultra. Merece la pena comprarlo y conectar al Marantz?. Tambien tengo un subwoofer Monitor audio silver W12, que veo que tiene conexión y EQ. Un saludo desde Madrid

I’m currently running the Wiim Pro (with an IFI power supply) feeding my Denafrips 12-1 Ares DAC ..and it’s good …..now is the new Ultra a better performing streamer ?

The streaming ability is about the same. Sound quality to an external dac (though it's a little better) about the same. I have posted my review video.
