Very cool little analog radios, I also pick up NOAA WX, NOAA sats, and the ISS with them. With an SDR dongle and free scanning software like Unitrunker you can do trunking scanning, 700MHz, 800MHz as well.

You are listening to citiwide on the 470 frequency but NYPD is slowly going to be encrypted meaning you will not be able to listen to NYPD frequency The whole Brooklyn North ,Brooklyn South and StatenIsland encrypted

Enjoy it while you can, over the next year NYPD will encrypt the rest of their channels. All you will hear will be a funny buzz...
