What Takashi Yamazaki said in the dialogue. staff prioritized only the work that seemed difficult and other work did not get done, so I purchased a computer at my own expense and worked on planting the CGs of the trees one by one on the mountain. Regarding child actors At the time, it was impossible to give acting instruction to a two-year-old child for a crying scene, so the actors waited until the child was about to become sleepy and cranky, and then hurriedly shot the scene. And once the child fell asleep, we stopped shooting until he woke up.

He has a background in VFX and supervising VFX, so he was making sure to be involved with his VFX team That's a big part of why the movie looks so good despite having a budget of around $15,000,000 A reason why a lot of $100mil hollywood movies don't look nearly as good is because VFX teams have to bid the lowest amount for productions to hire them, and they are usually not given nearly enough time to polish the effects. Not only are the effects subpar, but the teams are often overworked.

This and GMK Godzilla were meant to be a purposefully hateful Godzilla. A Godzilla actively out for revenge on humanity. But I sorta have an idea for a Godzilla which would honestly make this "REALLY wants to kill humans" thing much more apparent. This would be reflected by its atomic blast. This Godzilla's atomic breath would be reminiscent of a neutron bomb. Neutron bombs in theory are nuclear bombs that wouldn't be super strong. Compared to other nukes, they'd make fairly weak explosions. Their danger however would be in the sheer amount of radiation they'd unleash. Gamma rays and neutrons would go through steel and concrete, leaving them intact. They'd however instantly irradiate anything living, killing them. The purpose of a neutron bomb is to kill as many people as possible, while also leaving as much infrastructure intact. That would be a cool basis for a Godzilla variant's atomic breath. It would seemingly be pretty weak. Sorta like Zilla's atomic breath which only blew away a couple of cars. But its danger would be its radiation that would just kill any human instantly. Imagine a scene where this Godzilla tumbles through a city and encounters a row of tanks. Godzilla attacks the tanks with its atomic breath. The tanks are seemingly fine, only slightly damaged and burnt. But on the inside, everyone would be dead; covered in radiation burns. Godzilla then continues rampaging through the city before leaving. Multiple buildings have collapsed, but the damage isn't seemingly too severe. Most of the damage seems to have come from Godzilla just knocking buildings over as it was walking. For the most part, the city was fine. Japan had honestly seen worse through earthquakes, tsunamis, and typhoons. But when the JSDF walks through the city to inspect the total damage, they'd find bodies. Bodies covered in burns. Bodies everywhere. On the street and inside the seemingly intact buildings. Whatever this Godzilla did, and was trying to do, it seemingly wasn't trying to destroy Japan like your stereotypical giant monster. It was just trying to kill people. It could care less about destroying infrastructure. It was focused only on people. This Godzilla wouldn't be a "force of nature". It'd just be a mass murderer

The lack of resources the Japanese had in the beginning made sense, bonus points because of the Japanese Government being made fun of again this time because of COVID and not Fukushima. Japan lost pretty much all of its military capability. Hence why the most powerful ship they used was the Takao, spared in their universe from our universe's fate of being sunk as a target ship because of Godzilla. They lost their capital ships that they had at the end of the war to scrapping such as their aircraft carriers which they didnt even have air wings for and the battleship Nagato in Operation Crossroads, the exact reason why Godzilla was mutated
