Legion Beast unfortunately, most Gamera franchise monsters were his enemies. Unlike in Godzilla franchise, there weren’t any powerful creatures that would have frightened any of Gamera’s enemies into fighting alongside the giant turtle. A cool concept, but one that has yet to materialize

@@miguelfrancescohogar7501 Well, in the original series, it was intended to be elaborated on that Gamera is a "friend to all children", and this extends to even children monsters with Garashaarp(sp?), a snake monster who, upon being killed, has two babies, which Gamera protects, but removes their stingers/fangs so they won't be a danger.

Damn. These films actually look really good, especially for kaiju films. The designs, the stories are so interesting and engaging and it really makes Gamera a fascinating character. He's reckless and destructive but also a savior. I love that the third film is basically karma for Gamera's actions in the second film. Oh my god I need to watch this trilogy!

Cause Gamera kinda operates on belief and life force, where as most iterations of Godzilla simply have sheer strength based on evolutionary traits and radiactive exposure. In a bout against one another, Godzilla would probably win just based on popularity, but Gamera probably would die and then re-incarnate much like he did fighting Legion.

Gamera vs. Iris is probably the greatest Kaiju film ever made in my opinion. The creature design is so fucking cool. Iris has just enough Gyaos in him to be devastating strong but menacing in his own right because of the tentacles and super sonic scapula having 4 times the strength and capacity.

We never said the runes are the same as Japanese kanji. In the movie, the Atlantean runes are said to match those of an unspecified ancient Japanese group, which the characters cross-reference in order to translate into Japanese. The runes used in the movie may actually be Norse in origin, but in the movie they tie them to ancient Japan instead. It;s just a work of fiction taking liberties with the runes.

I don't know if it's me, but it seems strange to me that Gamera from his Heisei Trilogy measures 262 feet / 80 meters tall and weighs 120 tons when, logically, Gamera When measuring 262 feet / 80 meters tall should weigh. between 40,000 and 50,000 tons the same with the other monsters of the Heisei Trilogy, Those of the Showa Era from Gamera and Avant Gamera / Toto from Gamera the Brave

If Toho makes a MonsterVerse of their own, the final film should be Gamera v. Godzilla, and it should have Gamera with his Heisei origin, or at least make Reiwa Gamera similar in origin to the Kaneko Gamera. I could see it being almost as hype as Godzilla vs Kong in the Kaiju community.

Gamera seems like an interesting monster and I hope this isn't blasphemy amongst Gamera fans, but I wonder if he'd make a good addition to Legendary's Godzilla roster of monsters along with King Kong. I mean, why not, he Godzilla, King Kong, and Gamera could be the Three Musketeers of Kaijus. And thanks to this series and its depiction of Gamera, is why Gamera should join the Monsterverse, I mean Monsterverse is called Monsterverse for a reason, I mean it can't strictly just consist of Godzilla and King Kong it would get bland after awhile plus with a cinematic universe called Monsterverse the title sounds inviting to other giant movie monsters from other properties, and Gamera is the only other monster that has a franchise to his name apart from Godzilla and King Kong

I might be dumb in saying this, but Gamera should definitely appear in the monsterverse if not the Reiwa era movies eventually. But what other giant monsters could be added to the monsterverse that would make sense? Also the stupid part is coming up………….. Jurassic park and rampage? Like I can see Kong and George being buds considering that’s like the closest thing Kong has to another Titan sized ape…sub-Titan anyways. Also yes I know Jurassic park wouldn’t make sense, but tell me Rexy and Godzilla roaring together wouldn’t be sweet!
