Yeah they really do mate, they are heavy and bulky but have literally saved us so many times,. A sneaky hi mount redwinch helps a lot too haha

Storm deflators are much safer and better, i wouldn't take the valve out because they may not go back in

Yeah mate you are quite right, I also have a set of stauns, I do like both tho, stauns do take a while with 35 inch tyres to let down tho, also I've found the needle gets held off the seat if any sand gets in there which can deflate them to zero psi, have had that happen toe twice now but no bother, pump back to correct psi and strip stauns down later and clean later with CRC
