Dear Wilbur, You have been such an ispiration in learning the guitar. About a year ago, i was getting tired of learning the guitar and considered quitting, but then i found you. Your song gave me so much happiness and motivation because i wanted to learn them so badly. At that time i was not that good and wasnt able to play them very well, but i kept going. Throughout this year of listening and practicing your songs, i have improved so, so much. I am now able to play songs that i could have never imagined i could play, because i started practising willingly and have enjoyed playing so much. I have also purchased my first electric guitar, because i love playing now :) Playing the guitar is now my favourite hobby and i do it because i want to, not because i have to. And i thank you

I don't know if Wilbur even checks this account. But this is sorta a soft reminder. That he cares, or at least cared. I wonder if Wilbur cares as much about bringing awareness for issues like these in recent days, giving the growth of the channel and the seeming detachment from 'personal' as that growth happens. I'm hopefully, that when the need arises, he still won't be afraid to use his platform in support of things such as equal rights, as he did with this. Though it will of course be less personal, as it's necessary to distance yourself from a persona as you stream, I hope an attempt is at least made. Either way, this is always a nice cover to listen back on. It's a stark reminder of quite a few things, even though it's only been a year.

Fun fact: When brits try to do an American accent, they often over annunciate the Rs at the end of words. This leads to their accent sounding slightly southern, as the Rs are too defined to sound American. This is why it hurts all of us to hear Wilbur attempt to sing with an American accent.

Here’s a story: I’m my music class, this year in my music class at the end of each lesson we can request a song and she might play it. My friend rickrolled her. My music teacher is really rude and strict. I didn’t know what to suggest, and she yelled at me for not suggesting and song. So I went the further step and recorded this on the phone. I requested it and told her I had it on my phone so she didn’t have to search it up. She said “ok..?” And she played it. The whole class laughing and my teacher being so confused on why we are cracking up. At the end of the day, she forgot about all of it. XD Bye!

loved the first cover of this song, loving the second. thank you for speaking out about the murder of george floyd, a man who didn’t deserve to die. i hope this country’s policemen can get a grip on themselves. it makes me sick knowing i live in a country where they can get away with the murder of anyone in this country. #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd

Hey Wilbur, love your music. I’m a Minnesotan who lives a 20-30 minute drive away from Minneapolis so I definitely can’t speak for the people there. But I go to the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and I’ve worked a little in the city, so I’m familiar with it. Just wanted to say, thank you for recognizing how much rage has spilled over at our corrupt system of state-sanctioned murderers and the politicians who support them. I don’t condone rioting, but at this point, peaceful protest has gotten us nowhere. They severely undercharged Chauvin in hopes of getting a conviction because police are above the law. This is not the America I grew up believing in. This isn’t the “freedom and justice for all” America I was taught in school about. Why are our systems so damn broken? It’s true. Urine does speak louder than words. Change hasn’t happened for decades of peaceful protest. I don’t condone the riots, but these riots are a natural reaction to the absolute corruption and apathy towards human life and dignity we see in our police gangs. I used to be much more moderate on this issue, but after seeing how recent events have turned out and analyzing the numerous instances of unpunished police brutality in the past, I’ve become a bit radicalized. I don’t condone riots, but if the system won’t listen to citizens when they protest peacefully, maybe they’ll listen once those citizens threaten the property and economy of the city. There’s a lot of anger in the air right now. And that anger is justified. Thank you for your music Wilbur.

I would truly love to see another cover uploaded on this channel. That is if he still would enjoy to do one of these :'). The best way to show someone the music you listen too is how you interpret it. Playing it is the best way to show it through your own eyes. And when you show someone how you look at something it can make them love it as much as you do.
