I was in my 40s and graduating from college. My mom had to take care of my stepdad, who was ill, so I told her not to come the 1,000 mile trip. When the ceremony ended I get a call from my mom, who flew to NJ to get to the venue holding the graduation. She told me to turn around. Seeing her there was the best present I ever had.

I saw graffiti all kver our college bathrooms stalls when i was there studying, so i took out a big black sharpie and wrote on a few stalls, you are good enough, dont let hate in to your soul, you are loved and you are amazing in your own right. I hope it helped some people at least. But i do stuff like that alot leave secret notes for servers in restaurants or shop etc saying their hard work is appreciated and that they are amazing. I havnt been caught yet thank god
