One night at the Chicago Theatre, I sat next to Glenn’s brother and his wife and friends at the back of the main floor in a roped off area. We had a blast! Glenn got a scholarship to U Kentucky. I wish he would have gone to IU, my alma mater. But, he and rest of band are incredibly talented. ✌️

What makes this band special is their warm middle range. Only one of among the other things that make them special though. Young bands usually don’t like middle range but Wilco knows the charm of the middle range. Very sexy sound, earthy and human.

KZbin should offer content creators the ability to trim off the beginning parts of streams and just have them start when the actual content starts. I mean, we all know what to do, but it seems like something Google could figure out with their bajillions of dollars.

It's different when they play overseas. Those people don't get several chances to see Wilco every year.. the boys put in a lot more of their hits at these shows. Can you imagine never hearing Heavy Metal Drummer or Handshake Drugs and going to your first Wilco concert, and they don't even play their hits? I'm seeing them next month, haven't heard anything off of Schmilco or Ode to Joy live. Excited to see what they sound like live. I'll either see them in KC or STL, and they stop there nearly every tour, so I'm hoping for a mix of new shit and deep cuts. It'll be my fifth time seeing them, so I've heard most of the hits. Not that I mind them at all.
