My dad would play Wilco in the car every day after he’d pick me up from kindergarten. Their music is some of the first music I ever liked and they’ll always play a big part in my life. Those were the days.

Man, Glenn can play ANYTHING and make it sound good. He's an amazing drummer. And I love the fact that he has no problem playing something really simple if that's what the song calls for (which is the best quality of any drummer).

I've never heard these guys before (of course, I'm ancient!), but I really enjoyed their music and their performance. The jazz guitar and oddball percussion truly adds excellent textures to the songs. I think this concert has made me a fan.

I agree. I was watching a tweedy video when wilco was suggested. The band name wilco was familiar, but this was the first time i watched one of their videos. I turned 60 yesterday (creeping up on ancient) And will certainly look for more Wilco. I think it will be a great way to start the day.

"The Whole Love" album was just a masterpiece. It doesn't get enough credit in their discography. It was an incredibly inspired set of songs and the best thing since "YHF" or "Being There", IMO. You could tell during that whole period of promoting the album and playing shows that Tweedy was really happy with that record.

When I listen to some of these songs played live, as per this set, I think I could easily agree. I never liked the production on that record, though. I think that's what put me off, and those songs went past me until lately. Think they recaptured their recording mojo with Star Wars & Schmilco (particularly), though.

I remember that feeling. A buddy of mine came over and said "You have to hear this!" He put on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and we listened to the whole thing, start to finish. It is my all-time favorite album to this day. If you're looking for a good starting point, that is the album I would recommend.

I ran into the lead for the old 97’s in an airport once. He was very warm and nice. And appreciated that I recognized him, genuinely. Wilco is the best band playing anywhere. Tweedy is odd and so talented, I do love the toy sized drum set too.

Heaven is where the radio station just plays Wilco, Nick Drake, and the Beatles for eternity. There a very few bands I can listen to almost constantly and not need a break for awhile to re-appreciate. Obviously Wilco are one of them.

Lived down the street from Bob & JoAnn Tweedy. Lucked out one spring day & caught the Wilco crew playing wiffle ball in the street. Jeff was gracious enough to autograph my copy of the A.M. cd jacket. That was 1996. My daughter was 7 years old. Now she is a budding folk artist. At the time she had no idea what she was gifted by Jeff. Now at 23 she's a bonafide fan!

I went to Rio, the 1st one in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. Definitely, the one in Rio was the best. The crowd was really mad, singing guitar parts and all. one of the best shows ever!

Saw these guys at Gathering of the Vibes. The bands before them were psychedelic jam bands. The bands after them were psychedelic jam bands. They did not fit in at all. I was tripping my face off and when they came on, I immediately went to sleep on the lawn. After they were done, I woke up. It was absolutely perfect.

Great bassist, tight harmonies, strong songwriting, and just a really fun little performance from a good band I've never really listened to before. I like the descending to chaos ending on Born Alone. Reminds me of the "everybody's gone nuts" part of "I am the Walrus." Now I gotta find more Wilco music.

Last year Wilco played in Barcelona, in a big theatre where only operas and classical concerts are allowed. (Liceu theatre) I guess that promoter knew that Wilco fans could stand in their sits enjoying the show without destroying the place. Wilco is the one and only rock band who have played there. Full respect for them and their fans (BTW Nels Cne is one of he best guitar player I've heard in years)
