they charge for the new version I just bought the last version in October and they refuse to upgrade even after they told me all upgrades are inculded. BUYER BEWARE

All updates are included for Subscription users. As with all perpetual software, updates to major versions are a cost, but all updates to minor versions are included. EmbroideryStudio 2025 is a major new version.

Yup, bad business practices, they advertise the academy website for embroidery studio users, but it's only for 2025, not 2024. Very shady
