Hey Andrew! I asked you in the comments last week if portland had a casino for poker and it had me thinking...besides florida, nevada and california, what would be your top 3 states to live in for a professional poker player? Portland looks nice but is there enough to constitute trying to play there full time?
@deeloc19936 жыл бұрын
so ive figured it out brother! the vlog rungood works because you vlog it right? well i think these stream and other channel games you have run bad because its double recorded and cancels the rungood out. ive got it! LOL forget all that. runbad sucks but if theres anyone who knows you can rebound its you! good luck man! #michiganders

Marc, tough to say since this game only goes a couple times a month I think. I'd probably try the northeast after the states you listed and be able to travel easily between PA, NJ, CT and the new Wynn opening next year in MA.

Hey Andrew. This is a bit belated, but I'm just now discovering your (and Brad's) poker vlogs. I watched his Portland one earlier today and yours just now, and genuinely enjoyed both. Both of your commentary is fun, appreciate the variance and differences, but I did want to mention this: as a native Oregonian and Portland resident for the past decade, I really liked his video intro, where he showed shots of the city, a local brewery or two, etc. Just a nice opening montage of my town. Your respective analysis & presentation is great, love watching both of y'all's videos, but his little showcase of Portland proper was a nice touch! I know you often do this with your videos, as I have watched most of them, but was a little sad that I wasn't able to feel that fleeting "Hell yeah, that's my city!" rush in the intro. That's all. Really nothing serious at all! Love what you're doing and hope this crazy corona isn't affecting your livelihood too much!

Checking back the set of 6s at 18:00 is so bad. Andrew has 9 10 with a club (6 hands) and flushes (23 hands down to 34s) only there. Andrew can also have 68s (3 hands) J8s (2 hands) 22 (3 hands), AJ with the ace of clubs (2 hands), Q10 with a club (6 hands). So Andrew has 29 winning hands or less depending on his range, versus Brewer's 16 hands + 10% Andrew's air = 19 winning hands. So Brewer has roughly 40% of the equity at showdown. Andrew's check on the river eliminates a good part of his value range, like nut flushes, which would bet river after check-raising the turn to get value from other flushes, straights, and sets. I think Andrew's check on the river easily gives Brewer the additional 10% equity at showdown he needs to get to 50%+ to make a river bet profitable. Plus Andrew is almost never check-raising a bluff given the action so a river bet is barely exploitable. Brewer left like $385-440 bucks on the table.

11:40 why would the hand be any more difficult with 89, it would be an easier fold than with 97, you have a double gutter and the backdoor. Just wondering what is your point of view on this. And also the fold on the flop was great even considering the player behind you would put all his money in you still need like 4% more equity to make it even, gj on that.
@AndrewNeeme6 жыл бұрын
I meant 87, which would be drawing to the nuts on both ends getting a great price instead of my hand which is only drawing to the nuts on one side.
