easy to see why nature would blend different color variations because genetic gene-pool does not get altered in any way. When human primates try to mix a lion with a tiger and call it a liger, the gene pool gets altered and species would have a shorter life span. But also, certain abilities do not get enhanced, but the complete opposite would occur.
