I was wondering if there's an 'open season' on them. If they get common enough they might be well worth the effort, especially if they can be taken at night with night vision equipment. Can they be legally trapped in Arizona?
@loupuleff5713 күн бұрын
@@nomdeguerre7265 Yes no tag required I hope Jason will tell us where they are so we can get rid of them.
@Mike-012343 күн бұрын
Yes there is a government website shows the hog population expanding over the years. Even with all these traps people have devised hardly slows the population down although I have had many who claim their pen traps have an effect I call it BS. They have to trap 1000 a week for 20 years before they can stop them. I'm not sure they will be able to migrate up north toward Phoenix where heat is higher and much less water.
@terpsurfer72212 күн бұрын
@@nomdeguerre7265Pigs are not listed as a game species in AZ. No license or permits required. No shooting hours restriction. Thermal and night vision allowed, as far as I know... double check with g&f on the nv/thermal. They have been present for a long time in AZ and have not really spread to new areas. Not enough water for them to cross the flats, so where they are now is where they stay.
