@@NWFishingSecrets can I give you one little cooking tip? Instead of cooking fish in just butter or a oil/butter combination, buy or make your own ghee. Ghee is just clarified butter but it's smoke point is 250 Celsius compared to 150 Celsius for butter. Has a slightly nutty flavour too. Can buy a jar of it at most grocery stores. Anyway, maybe give it a try and fish on!!

I target shoot more than fish at the moment, and I'll say the same for public gun ranges. Just pick up your trash, and dont use the range as your personal dumping ground people. One of the local ranges by me is beginning to look like an actual landfill with all the crap people dump there constantly.

I just found your channel last night and I’m probably already 5 or 6 hours deep. Man, I love your style. You’re super informative, love how you actually show the bonks and filleting, not that I’m a sadist, but for those who don’t really know how to dispatch or prep their fish you’re one of the only people who regularly show that, even how you hook your worms...some people just simply don’t know, you’re also super likable on camera, and most importantly, you’re making me want to get out of nyc and go hit up a lake. Next weekend. You’ve entertained and motivated me, Leif. Thanks my man, I’ll be sure to pick up some of your gear, like the ultralight setup and that inflatable mattress via your links. Fish on.

The woods for me is my church. It’s where I get grounded. No matter what is going on in your life, or in the world, there’s nothing like the wilderness to help remind you that in all of that chaos is harmony. @@NWFishingSecrets Some advice I would have on your fly fishing: try not to spook the fish! Casting a bunch and smacking the water in the same spot can do this. Also, try and time your dry fly fishing for a hatch / morning & evening when they are rising. In fact, there are so many times they rise and I want to yell to switch to your fly rod! I want to see you get them haha. In addition, start experimenting with streamers in lakes and then Dry/Dropper setups in rivers. You'll catch more fish!
