Fat reserves of springers must be absolutely amazing. Wonder how many calories a 20 lb salmon needs per day in the river.

But because the dams they can't reach high elevations where they were normally supposed to spawn. They weren't supposed to spawn at 3500 ft elevation more like 7000 ft plus elevation
