You may not be out that often at the mo, but when you do it's a pleasure to watch. Recenty discovered the joy of the onion/mushroom/balsamic mix, and I also tend to add garlic (I love the stuff, you may not) and some chilli flakes for a little zap. It's an excellent mixture to add that something to any lump of meat. Mmmm... Don't worry too much about being tidy for the camera - the realism is part of the attraction of the lifestyle. In my view, anyway. Poor old Phill Line, it's always up to him. Very best of luck with the Iron Man, even if you are showing up the rest of us middle-aged gents... Top man.

Top tip to clean your pan when you get home get it as hot as you can then put lemon juice in it and wipe it out with kitchen role 👍

I really like the look of this tent. I’ve used many solo tents over many years. I’m now considering a larger tent. Leaning towards a Helm 2 or Pioneer. The floor space required for V4A looks like it could be a challenge. Another superb video with fire, cooking and camping. The ultimate combination 👍😎

I've mentioned before about camping/bushcrafting whilst using dropstitched inflatable canoes and a few of us are getting together again for a meet mid October near Selby. Love a bit of venison. Looked very tasty Rich. This time of year the darkness drawing in is rubbish, but the plus side is fires are safe again, and nothing beats cooking over an open fire. The Soto stove is great. You have seen I like mine, and it flames like no other, so even cooking in a small pan is great. Served me very well in France recently 🔥👌🏻

Hi Brian. I’m not a natural in front of the camera and, honestly, don’t know when I’m doing it until the edit.
