@@FISH-OHOLIC unfortunately no. My mum has become immobile now. And my dad at 84 cannot lift mum in and out of the wheelchair. Just going to the toilet from living room requires 4 lifts never mind laying her back down on sofa/bed. Which is just about as difficult as the lifting. But it's very much appreciated fish Ty. Both my brothers live in Weymouth so even they can't cover for me. It's just the way it is unfortunately. But again Ty 👍

Yeah really was a great walk in and a perfect pitch with amazing views . It was good catching up and meeting new people , all likeminded responsible campers enjoying nature over a campfire and a bottle of buckfast abby's finest 😁 .I always have that bivvy bag over my sleeping bag , old army habit 😁, probably only gives me an extra degree of warmth , but i always have it on just in case theres any spillage or leaks , so my bag stays dry .Once your bag is wet , theres not a lot you can do about it ! And yeah hopefully the fb group can help get more people out camping and enjoying nature , as you said with knowledge and advice , not a lot of money can still get you reliable kit to enjoy the outdoors .Anyways hope all is well with you Simon , thanks for watching 👍🏻🏕

Absolutely beautiful area man! My actual home is my semi tractor all over the US 🇺🇸 highways. I keep my gear with me. As soon as I get healed up from a couple injuries hopefully I'll get some videos done camping and hiking in the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachian Mountains

I usually have a point to camping like fishing, kayaking, bike rafting or climbing. I think drinking defeats the purpose of being in nature but I enjoyed watching you run. ATB

I 100% disagree with your comments , the whole point of camping for me personally is that i dont need to do anything , theres no time restraints , i can just sit back in remote locations and actually enjoy nature without any distractions other than cooking and setting up my tent or hammock . For me its a release , time to unwind , ive had mental health issues in the past and still suffer from stress and anxiety issues , so being out doing absolutely nothing in nature is my medicine . Wether that be sitting in a forest listening to the wildlife , or beside a raging river with the sound of water or huddled up in my tent during a storm .Im sure many others feel the same . But everyone has different reasons for getting out , the main thing is that people are getting out . As for drinking , it helps me relax , especially when im in new locations , sometimes i get anxious and question wether i should just pack up and go home , so a drink helps me relax, get used to the noises and tune in to my surroundings and enjoy nature . As long as people are responsible , no blaring loud music , destroying their surroundings , leaving rubbish , i dont see the harm in relaxing with a few drinks round the campfire , humans have did this for centuries . Anyways sorry for the long winded reply , just wanted to explain my personal reasons for wild camping 😁 As for the running part , my son almost pee'd himself with laughter watching that . Camping wild, group camps are a social event. Getting to know new people or being around old friends or even both. Group camps aren't like a normal camp usually, and a few beverages are the norm. I don't see where it defeats the purpose? I personally like it when there's a few drinks involved, people tent to relax more and you get to know the real them. We all enjoyed each others company, enjoyed and respected our surroundings, and had a great time. No harm done 👍

@@CraigLinton. alcohol causes depression while nature cures depression so it’s very counterproductive. These group camps you speak of unfortunately are going to ruin wild camping in Scotland for the rest of us. Just have a look at Loch Lomond for a great example. I mean you’re not breaking any laws but you are promoting this behaviour on KZbin. Some long term thinking is needed from ally especially if he’s going to advertise the spots on the internet. The buckfast also doesn’t attract a very appealing crowd

@Camping Wild that's your opinion which your entitled to, same as us with ours, but I think saying ally needs to think about what he's promoting etc and then getting personal about what he was drinking is a bit out of order to be honest.

Alcohol does not cause depression, it can make it worse. As long as people are not being idiots it's fine. I'd rather have a couple on a group camp than sit in a pub any day, that's depressing.
