Your photographs are stunning, and you capture the immense spirit of that incredible place! I’ve only see it in photographs, and yours are among the best. Thank you so much for taking us along, and sharing your feelings about that landscape. Your emotional and spiritual response to the beauty clearly translates into your photographs. I’m so happy for you to be back there ,and so glad we get to see more of Scotland’s beauty in your photography journey!

Thank you very much! I am really loving being back here. I headed over to Skye a few weeks ago by the way, I didn't video the trip, but I'm hoping to pop over a few more times soon (it's only an hour away after all!). S

Thanks a lot Brett! It's a stunning spot up there, amazing views. I'll definitely be heading back to some of the other peaks in the area too, there's a vast area to explore. S.

Amazing view up there! Those foreground rocks really complement the scene well.
@BosePhotography2 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much, those rocks are really stunning. I saw a few other potential shots from up there too but ran out of time with the light, so I may well need to head back at some point! S

Great video, Sam. Loved the shots of Suilven, but the sunset of Stac Pollaidh is my favourite.
@BosePhotography2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Alan, I like that shot as it is a different angle to the usual Stac Pollaidh images. The views up there really are incredible, I'm sure I'll be heading back at some point. S

Wonderful. I grew up in Assynt (Lochinver), and always enjoy seeing videos from up there. Excellent.
@BosePhotography Жыл бұрын
Thank you very much Allan! I've always loved Assynt, it really is a special place. I must get back there and make another video soon! I drive through it quite often on my way to see my parents in Durness, but I'm hoping to make a dedicated photography trip there again soon. S

Fabulous images Sam, every one. Sorry you had to move camp but safety comes first. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.

Thank you! I was pleased I made the effort to move the tent in the end, even if it had stood up to the winds I wouldn't have had any sleep at all so it was definitely worth it. Thanks for watching! S.

Sam, stunning pics and well worth the climb ! Smart of you to move the tent ; better safe than sorry.

Thanks Marcel! Definitely worth it, despite the lack of sleep! I was pleased I decided to move though, I wouldn't have slept a wink on the top that night. S

Thank you John! It was definitely worth it, the views from up there were stunning and the sunset was beautiful. There's a lot more to explore in the area, so I'm sure I'll be heading back, and I'll try and persuade Hannah to come next time too! ;) S

This video reinforces my decision to buy a tent. 👍 (Apart from the sharp exit you had to make from the mountain during the night). A mighty fine collection of images mate. You got to be happy with that lot.
@BosePhotography2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Julian, yes I was very happy with these images, I'm hoping to have a couple of them printed. Even with having to move in the middle of the night, this trip was certainly worth it, and I'm sure you will have many opportunities to make the most of your tent as well! Definitely one of the best purchases you can make for photography in my opinion, although I'm not sure we'll be able to persuade Chris to buy one! S.

@@BosePhotography Yeah, I'm not even sure the combined power of both of us will convince Chris to go camping! lol

Hi Sam, A great video adventure. It must have been a nightmare packing up your tent etc at 2.00 in the morning and a bigger nightmare setting it up again, but as you said it's better to be safe. What an amazing location in every direction. You captured some really amazing image's. Look forward to the next one. Take care mate.
@BosePhotography2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Tim, it was a bit of a wrench, I was worried about moving in the dark as well, but I knew where I was going so it turned out fine. Not the easiest night I've had in a tent! I was glad to manage a couple of hours sleep after the move though, and the images definitely made up for it! S.

Nice images Sam. Anyone who’s camped high on a mountain - especially summit camping - has had to make a retreat at some point due to weather. I certainly have a couple of times :)

Such a stunning looking location i can see why you were so looking forward to moving up that way. Well done on making up there with all your gear, im sure that was tougher than you made it look, and you were certainly rewarded with some great images 14:07 14:25 and the pano at 15:52 were all stunning with some great light , im sure it was a great experience being there, shame about the weather conditions in the early hours, bet that was a real pain having to pack up at that time of day and move and re pitch but the image you got at 21:00 was lovely with the soft pastel warm and cool tones looked stunning. Enjoyed seeing this through your eyes , not sure i got there even myself, well done mate, take care.

Thank you very much Lee, it really is another world there, and I'm hoping to spend a lot more time in the area now it's so close. I'm about equidistant between Assynt and Skye, so I'm pretty well located! The bag was pretty heavy so I was pleased to make it up. Some of my camping gear is over 20 years old now, so could probably do with an upgrade! S

You took some lovely photographs Sam, it's always worth the effort to go the extra mile:) Sorry you had to move camp in the small hours but the main thing is safety first. I have to travel for hundreds of miles to see scenery like this, I think it's in my blood too. Dad was a Scotsman:) Sandy
