Wild Camping In SUB ZERO Temperatures | Rab Ascent 900 Test

Wild camping with a view!
This time I took my new Rab Ascent 900 sleeping bag out for a test to the stunning Llyn Y Fan Fach in the Brecon Beacons in sub zero temperatures. And what a test it turned out to be, -2C with a -6C windchill!
I had to endure 30mph winds, heavy cloud and rain even before setting up the tent, then the real test came with temperatures dropping well below zero. I'm happy to report that the Rab passed with flying colours and kept me nice and warm despite a frozen tent inside and out!

I'm 6ft 2. Will the Rab ascent 900 be long enough?

Rab say the standard version is good up to 6ft but they do have a long version good for up to 6ft 6 so you’d probably be safer with that 👍🏻
