any places to eat/or refill for water around that area?
@jamieoutdoors Жыл бұрын
@@gulgutz90 in west lulworth there is a little cafe that serves hot food. They also have a tap outside the building you can fill up water for free. Not easy to find, but it’s there. There’s also another little shop but it’s further up in west lulworth near the church.

Most excellent coastal adventure Jamie! The drone footage yet again was spectacular. My last wild camp, last weekend was in the Peak District (40 minutes from home), and it was a snow wild camp, and happy to say got some lovely drone footage as well. Down in Devon (halfway through May), taking me mum to visit relatives (I was born in Torquay, South Devon), and now inspired to get a coastal wild camp! We will see. Keep these videos coming!

Thank you so much. I haven't braved a snow wild camp yet. So glad that you want to add a coastal wild camp to the mix. I love mixing it up, heading to the hills, mountains or even the coast. Makes life so much more exciting knowing where I will camp next.

Do you still go? I love a good camp. Reconnecting with nature is so good. Especially when you work the 9-5 life

Hi Jamie, just found your channel. Great vids. I’m really close to southwest coast path. Have wild camped twice there this year. My first ever wild camps. Interested in your msr tent, watched your review. Really want an all in one pitch though. My lightweight ish tent is a snugpak ionosphere. I love it but inner first and no porch. Have been studying KZbin for different tents. Also have a 300 banshee for campsites. I tried huel hot & savoury earlier this year but really didn’t like the taste, don’t know if it was me making it wrong not letting it stand long enough. I sometimes have the ready to drink and huel powder.

Hey thanks for the comments. Since starting this channel I’ve actually started working for Huel. So I feel incredibly biased. But, maybe it was the flavour you made? My personal go to is the carbonara, bolognaise or max and cheeze. But it is all vegan. So it isn’t going to taste exactly the same as the food you might be used it.

Hi Jamie, great video mate, are you based in Dorset? I've recently moved back to the area and done a few wild camps around durdle door, and whilst I love solo camping it would be great to do it with some like minded people. Did a beach camp a few weeks back and the tide was indeed only a meter from my tent when I woke up at 5.30am!

Geeeeez that must’ve been scary. Do you have Instagram? I’m always keen to meet more people who like wild camping. Waking up with it a metre away must’ve been a bit scary. Wouldn’t have wanted to find out what it was like a metre down the beach. That’s for sure. I’m based north west of London actually. Dorset is about 2.5 hours drive for me. But that’s an hour closer than most places that are nice to camp.

Where did you park your car?
@jamieoutdoors3 ай бұрын
I parked on one of the country lanes away from the towns. Just found a little lay-by and then walked the tarmac in. Google street view is a good application for finding parking spots. There are also a few apps that van lifers use, like park4night.
