WILD CAMPING ON A BEACH IN ALBANIA 🇦🇱

We spent a night wild camping on a beach in southern Albania! After traveling across the country, we pitched up on a quiet beach with our small tent and spent an incredible evening on the shores of the Ionian Sea. We also traveled to the stunning 'Blue Eye', a famous water spring and natural phenomenon near Sarande. Albania is surprising us at every turn! Can't wait to show us even more of this incredible country as we travel north! 🇦🇱

Gorgeous camping spot! Hope you two whiteys used sun screen? Camping in the US is all over the place. If you want to go to the popular National Parks you have to reserve a long time in advance. There are also lots of state and county parks which are usually easier to get a spot. They don't have campsites next to one another like in the UK but I have heard loud snorers, especially in the quiet of the woods. There are also privately owned campsite which usually have tons of RVs and are incredibly noisy. There are places in wild lands (usually owned by the US Forest Service) where you can go and camp especially in the western states.

Oh my gosh! The cherry eating 😂😂 Wow! What an amazing trip in Albania you guys are having! The spring looked amazing and camping on the beach looked so fun! I was wondering if the sea water was cold or not and you totally answered that question. We have lots of springs within an hour or two from where we live in Florida and we love swimming in that fresh, cold water! We have alligator and poisonous snakes to watch out for. I’m guessing Albanian Springs don’t have those. I need to research,

I was actually worried about the animals situation in Albania, I think there are some snakes but we figured they wouldn't go near us as we were closer to the sea without any bushes and things around 😊

Loved this one! So incredibly beautiful and that water hole, was it the blue eye? That was INSANE! Gorgeous! I haven’t been camping in probably 20 years so I can’t tell you how it is here Hahahhaa I do think you can do more like peaceful camping though and also camping with a lot of other people too

Great video. Your drone shots were amazing! Camping in Canada really just depends on where you are. There are campsites where you are very close together and not private at all and many others that are quite remote and everything in between that! Did you feel unsafe at all camping wild?

This looks like such an amazing idea! Honestly never thought of camping on a beach its now on my bucket list. While living in New Jersey I never actually camped but my boyfriend did and its sort of just going in the middle of the forest or finding a park that allows it? I want to try now though lol.

My husband had never camped before. Anyhow we pitched our tent in a campground. He saw a group of people all lined up for dinner. So he tacked onto the end of the line. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was getting dinner. I said we are not part of that party. He thought it was part of the campsite fees. I laughed so hard and so did the others in the line. They did say we could stay but I headed him in the direction of the town for a pub feed instead. Still laugh about that one.

I've never been on a beach that had all rocks like that one. Didn't it hurt your feet to walk on and how comfortable was it to sleep on even with the air mattress? It was very beautiful.

I never camped on a beach. Looked like fun. Except for the rocks. They look like they would hurt my feet! I've only seen sandy beaches. And have only tent camped in the woods. Yes, tents get hot real quick when the sun hits them. Thanks for showing your aggressive sour cherry faces and blowing the pits on each other! That was funny!

From what I gather Matt has told you, several times actually. I will repeat one last time. Our camera is capable of filming only in 25 and 50fps. In 25fps the quality is horrendous. The editing software doesn't cope with 50fps and there is no conversion that helps. How dare you say that we "just don't care", when we are constantly working hard and worrying about everything. If there was a solution with this particular camera - we would do it, but as Matt said THERE ISN'T ONE!
