I grew up mear Guildfoed, whcih is similar,. I'd not say beautiful cos of that, cos for teenager these places are a bit like prisons.

I walk around the Cotswolds often and there's plenty of U shaped lanes there too. I may or may not have fallen into one on my motorbike accidentally and had to ride down it because it was too steep to get back up with a road bike lol.
