Wild Camping Overlooking England's LARGEST Lake

Today I am wild camping near the small Lake District village of Troutbeck. I will be camping on top of Troutbeck Tongue but with strong winds and patches of rain, will we have a good night?

Always attach a bit of cord to your sit mat, that way you can peg it down or attach to your tent/rucksack and they won't blow away. Looked like a fun camp. Great video.

how are you allowed to wild camp in the uk? I am new and want to get into this myself?

It's technically not legal, but as long as you camp high up, pitch late in the day and leave early the next morning, you shouldn't have any issues. Obviously, leave no rubbish and avoid fires. If someone asks you to move on, you must do so. (Not happened to me yet)
