Great start and what lovely weather you have for this epic Scottish trail. 21.5KG? Oh my word, couldn’t get out the front door with that! Great tips as always re. getting water. Great energy after those snacks guys! Love the Lobster Flops! 15KG seems more like it, especially given the things you packed. Midge free too? Are you sure this is Scotland? A worm in the filtration bottle? Not a chance! A bucket bridge, how cool was that? Fair few ascents on day two, bit nasty at the end of the day. Well done on being so sensible with your fitness. We hadn’t heard of Hello Fresh sounds really convenient for busy people that don’t bet chance to shop, nice to see how fresh the ingredients were. Did well to make it to day three before the dark clouds came in. That bothy looked like a great spot for a night. A sketchy stream cross that could have been a lot worse without the pole. Wild salt? Whatever next. Views are amazing. Yikes that dead sheep didn’t bode to well at the next bothy. Gosh you have had incredible weather. Lovely wooded spot for night three. Yay Aviemore, been there a few times! Oh a red squirrel area! Lovely flat finish into the Cairgorns. 👍

Great start, great weather and loved those moody skies, not that keen on the camp foot ware mind. I have no problem carrying 15 grams, it the 15 kilograms I would have issue with and Wilfred the worm too. That would have been a heart wrenching moment for me too, I hate cows with a passion. That bridge crossing looked heard work mind but everyone kept dry, having said that when you see rain gear on, you got to worry about the weather in Scotland. You could see the trail stretching for miles ahead, what a view indeed. Queasy tums done not sound good, some thing I always dread every time I have ever camped. cheers Alan

No need to be worried about the cow as you are young, all you have to do is outrun your friends. What is he carrying that weighs 21kg? Bikepacking, that is more than the bike and gear.

So glad you enjoyed the video, we all had such a laugh! It’s true, I don’t watch or pay attention to daytime tv or the dramas that revolve around it x people need to get a life and get out into nature

Hi Gary, The only add I have added to this video was the sponsorship add half way through for Hello Fresh, I do not monetise my channel so sponsorship helps me continue to afford to hit the trails and create videos. Unfortunately if you are seeing more ads on this video that is down to the platform who can choose to include adds onto well performing videos or videos with a any copyright flags (using the wrong backing music) I do not get any compensation for these ads being on my videos as my channel is not monetised. I’m sorry you had a poor viewing experience.
