What a epic trip, any idea on how much it cost to deck the tinnie out? Seriously it looks setup perfect thanks guys
@WildReaches4 жыл бұрын
I can’t remember exactly mate. I might have mentioned it in that tinny review we did. Around $600 I suppose for materials.
@newport55044 жыл бұрын
@@WildReaches I’ll check that video out, wow that’s a fantastic price to deck it out

Where can I get my own Pete the Plonk!? bloody mint idea!!
@WildReaches3 жыл бұрын
You have to make them unfortunately...
@WildReaches3 жыл бұрын
You could probably use weight off a bench press and gal spray them. 🤷🏼♂️
@newport55044 жыл бұрын
Hey guys just wondering where you got Pete the plonk I can’t find any online, looks fantastic
@WildReaches4 жыл бұрын
Hey Newport. I think it came with one of my first boats and iv had it since... 🤔 I don’t advise playing with lead as it’s nasty but getting the weight you need and melting it to shape with the pin through it is the go.

@@WildReaches thanks mate Definitely an awesome idea!

Loving this series fellas, great iso viewing! can confirm, substituting a rod or two for a 30-30 is a worthwhile investment for porkers haha

We may or may not own a 30/30... Stoked you are enjoying it mate! Have you watched all the episodes yet?

You guys should try mounting a GoPro to the front of the boat. Would make for an awesome timelapse! Love your work, it's such raw content!

yeah great idea mate. we're mounting one up high on the stern too so we dont miss anything.

Some great content you guys have created. Is there any chance you can upload a slowed down video of how you pimped out your tinny? Even better if you can explain over the top so i can copy some of your work . Cheers

Yeah I can try do that mate. I’ll put something together. There’s another Tinny review with more detail coming in a couple weeks.

@rileydunlop694 жыл бұрын
how long do you usually go up north for and when do you do it.
@WildReaches4 жыл бұрын
We usually do a month at a time. as soon as we can after the wet. Once in the middle of the dry around July August and then one real late before it gets too wet.

Great trip so far lads, that damper turned out perfect! How'd you pick the timing of your trip? Was it a bit of a punt to know not too much but enough water?
@WildReaches4 жыл бұрын
Hi Sean. Thanks mate, glad ur liking it. I lived up there for long time mate and I know the river heights throughout the year over stretches that iv explored which gave us an idea of what it would be like. I don’t think you’d want to do it any lower, maybe a little bit more water.
@AbuNuh274 жыл бұрын
@@WildReaches Yeah a bit more water would hide some of the bigger branches, but might make for a wilder ride down some of those rapids!
@WildReaches4 жыл бұрын
@@AbuNuh27 Yeah for sure mate, A few of the rapids got pretty wild but yeah probably less chainsaw action. I really liked it at the level we did it, although the fishing would be a bit better earlier in the year..
