There’s SOO much more to Carpathia than vampires and dracula and abandoned villages. Is it really that beautiful? It’s really that beautiful. If you are into Twilight-like stories, an American author named Christine Feehan wrote a 7-book series set in Carpathia. Anyways, enjoy all you lovely Nature Nerds

This should be protected at all cost n also to have a sustainable living for the people there thru tourism..Its really a beautiful place n its yhe last forest in Europe n so top priority should be taken by the Romanian Govt n the People.

What an amazing documentary, I'm shocked at the genuine quality and non bias in this free documentary, I feel as if I should be paying a premium just to see this haha. I have never seen someone finally talk about the many things that were lost and destroyed because of the forced privatization of the country, which simply just happened so fast many things were left behind or forgotten. The communist regime no matter your opinion on them, was responsible for keeping a lot of things still standing, and is also responsible for the natural richness of romania thanks to ecological laws. Things are far more complicated than right and left, wrong and right, and our histories scream it as us. Absolute gold documentary, loved the first one too!

What a beautiful, hidden country. I beg to differ on the comment that the Highlands of Scotland are ecologically barren.Yes,they are bare and windswept in places, but still rich with Golden eagles,Osprey,Red Deer and stands of Caledonian forest,..but not on the scale of this gorgeous Romania.

Too bad the documentary claims the Transalpina is east from Cozia National Park. In fact it's west. I think they confounded it with the Transfagarasan, which is similar. I'm a regular recreational Carpathian hiker and can highly recommend it to anyone.
