I've said it many times, now, but I'll say it again: the biggest dreamer, uhm, reason I mean, Digimon aren't as big as pokémon in the west is the music that we never get... Germans did the same music (their own cover versions, that is) as in the japanese version, why not the US? Instead we get "digimon, digital monsters, digimon "garlic" champions" for four f*ckin' seasons! (the english dub is unwatchable, damn)

yeah tbh if I heard this as a kid I would’ve flipped my sht. I already watched tamers around 3 times since my first full watch in 2018 ish? The japanese dub really made me love this series and it’s easily one of my favorites.

I hear ya, pal... when the first season came to Brazil, for some undisclosed (and unacceptable in any way) reason they decided to adapt the "garlic champions" theme, which I think is downright terrible. And the adaptation turned out to be unbearable, even worse than the original. To the point that EVERY cover of Butter-Fly is infinitely better.

No one knew who "Wild Child Bound" was since its debut in Digimon, as it was just an alias. Recently (a couple of years ago maybe), it was revealed on the Digimon Music twitter to be Fujishige Masataka.

However, because Kouji Wada is dead someone else will have to sing his songs and I wonder who they'll be.
