Wally was my favorite. I'm just seeing this. Haven't watched in a very long time. I always admired how Wally expressed that she authentically enjoyed just being in your company. Sometimes she'd be with you, seemingly far away in deep thought. It wasn't about the food, she chose you to love and trust. Godspeed precious Wally. Please tell Chucky she is also missed very much!

Wise Wally, I wish we saw more of her last year. Terry should be cherished, much the same temperament, but a gentle soul. Will miss Wally and Jenny and Joony as they all became known to me in the era of Chucky.

A good supply of protein will do that, now that she feeds them mealworms they live longer. All the tarantula youtube channels I've watched have said their T's lived longer since feeding them mealworms.

I was hoping Wally would come back this spring despite her very long life. She was a lovely little chipmunk. And when she started being a "house-chipmunk" like much-loved Chucky, she reminded me of Chucky, but that life goes on, more to live + more to love. But it seems Wally's moved on, like Chucky. Not only do you offer safety, love, nourishment, hydration, comfort, rest inside your home if they are hurt, you bring them inside as they get older to make sure they get extra nourishment. I was there when Chucky did not return, and now, for Wally. When Wally was digging tunnels in Chu Chu's front garden last year, moving from her lake home , she must have known. She wanted to be closer to Tom and Chu Chu.😢

Wally's friendship was steadfast and very loyal. I had forgotten just how comfortable she was being held and stroked ... and eager to accept a new morsel of food from your fingers. I will always remember and cherish those memories of both Wally and Chucky - very, very dear friends. I've loved Wally since I first saw her, she had personality plus, plus. She created wonderful babies and always brought them to meet ChooChoo. The cutest thing she did though was to get into ChooChoo's pocket for seeds, stick her little head out, then dive back in for more seeds. She sure spent a lot of time with Tom and ChooChoo, for the love. Oh, Bless you both. You gave her a long life.

I knew what this was as soon as I saw the title, and had to work up to watching it. Wally!!!! My favourite chipmunk! I think she died in her sleep, like Chucky, and she never suffered or worried you weren't there - because you were there, in her dreams. It's the best way of dying that can be hoped for in the wild, I guess. She didn't have to suffer a scary death from something attacking her. Her belly was always full. She had your protection and she could always rely on you, as she showed by moving her house next to yours in her old age. And she had more than twice the lifespan most chipmunks get, and got to live in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and get neck rubs. I'm happy she had such a good life, but I'm sad it's over!

I am so sorry for your loss…your video has me weeping because I have experienced a similar pain - I adored a sweet little chipmunk I named Clementine, and it was so hard when she passed away.
