That's a Bad to the Bone-looking coaster! Man, Dollywood keeps getting new coasters! I wish Freestyle Music Park in Myrtle Beach would open back up, and to keep people coming back for more, they need New Coasters & Rides....More rides really, as the old Pavilion had lots more rides than they currently have at Freestyle. I still wish Pigeon Forge would bring back Magic World...that little park that lasted up until the mid 90's. It was just as fun as Dollywood to me.

10 years later, rode it last week. One of the best coasters out there still. In my opinion is more of a trill than kings islands new one, Orion. So smooth too.

In the end,we should all be excited that were getting a new coaster.I really do think that Wing Riders will be the ''next big thing'' for the coaster industry,just like the B&M inverts Vekoma boomerangs ect. Another park's getting a green tracked wing coaster next year.Cedar Point maybe?

Really, Judging by the pov provided by dollywood it only really seems like a minuet or less. And I guess your right because rides like goliath at six flags magic mountain have a huge drop and don't have inversions.

It is two minutes long,and I don't think coasters above a certain height are allowed to have inversions.I've heard of one giant coasters that did,and got its inversions removed.

ok sry i made a mistake but still a view of the woods in a ride doesnt give the ride the adrenaline rush of going through a fly through or having a water element......and i highly doubt tht X-flight is going anywhere six flags will not sel lthat ride because sooner or later pretty much all six flags parks will have a winged coaster(;

These Wing Riders go for 20million+ and plus the track was in a U.S. B&M manufacturing plant,so it's is a very good chance that it is coming to a well known U.S. theme park.(Cedar Fair or Six Flags park possibly) B&M can perfect anything,the 4D coaster,Intamin Wing coaster ect. they're planning on making their own launch coasters to.I can just imagine a new breed of B&M types by 2020.As for sittings,florless,inverts ect. those will be unpopular.

Actually the drop is 135 ft,but the lift hill is 210 ft.

Correction Wild Eagle has 4.Besides,I think a view of the Smokey's is 10 times better then a couple of cheap props for a ride that will only be there for 8 years then move to another Six Flags park.

the speed and lenght dont mean anything the one that is going up at six flags great america has 5 inversions and this had 3...the first drop is just like any other roller coaster other ones actuallu go into a barrel roll than the drop.....also this doesnt have any fly throughs or water elements sfgam does it doesnt matter about speed and height it matters about the inversions and scenery around it(;
