Good fight. Lane was hurt when alves kept landing body shots. His hands dropped to protect his body and his face was wide open but he had good head movements. Good fight to both! Glad Thiago took it home.

Kickboxing. The reason why bare knuckle is less dangerous is because you can't throw with the same amount of power as gloved hands, because otherwise you'd break them right off the bat. When you throw kicks, you can throw full power without pads on, because shins are much stronger than knuckles. This is why in normal kickboxing they wear gloves and can kick. This way they can throw full power with their hands and legs. It wouldn't make sense to have bare knuckle kickboxing, because then the kicking aspect would way outweigh the punching. It would just turn into a kicking fest with almost no punching.

If this were regular boxing I think Lane would have been got the clear unanimous decision. It sounds like they don't score defense in BKFC and they do in boxing.
