Fingers crossed that he will contribute quickly. His speed and two-way style will help us reach the playoffs. But when the playoffs start, I'm concerned the physical, close checking Colorado and Dallas games will wear him down as a young kid.

It's about experience right now. This team is not built to go anywhere. Now is the time to expose the younger players to these types of situations and see what they're made of.

If we lose to Predators tonite, the playoffs are pretty much out of the picture! They will have to go almost 19 & 3 after this week so it is a long shot to make post season!

Guerin is basically saying he won't see the ice for more than 9 games. The Wild are filled with two-way players. One more isn't going to make a difference.

​@@jefflarson1652 that's not how this works. He's burning a year of his ELC whether he plays 1 game or 20 games. European players coming over have diffetent rules for how their first contracts play-out.

It doesn't matter how many games he plays. The 9 game rule has to do with players of a certain age that are in the Canadian Junior leagues. It doesn't apply to European players. The first year of the contract is going to be burned this year no matter what.

You'll regret marinating Marat, don't let him near the core. That's where it will all end. You don't know how to trust the youth, and you fruitlessly marinate them near the core. You have problems in defense but you don't want to change anything. There's Lvmbos, O'Rourke, but you don't even try them in defense. With the cap issues and the injuries this year, it's not a fiasco. Silly comments.
