Amazing documentary, great job by the team. It's incredible to me how in a land habited by humans for so many years still has a little wildlife that still has hopes for thriving, I hope they do.

So many areas are a fight between man & wildlife. Madagascar... I was disgusted when I saw the lemur trees are still being cut down for $2Million to send to other countries including China & USA! STOP CHOPPING DOWN THE TREES! I hope vacationers will help w/ income. Make it affordable & you'll get more than the rich & famous. Rebuild & it'll make it even better for explorers & vacationers. 😺😺

I once heard a poem of Hafiz. A rough translation is: “What is this movement around the moon I see. All the horizons filled with mischief and deception I see.” What an ancient and beautiful civilization, though they’ve modernized a little too much (maybe).

First .. Amazing doc. Like seriously loved it. Second, I know it wasn't the experts and probably a script writer who maybe isn't a scientist but at 17:00 most harmful snakes are venomous not poisonous, unless you mean that they deliver harmful toxins by ingestion rather than fangs. Again super awesome doco. thanks for posting. First new doco I've seen in a while.

I said the same thing! It’s a pet peeve of mine when people mistake poisonous for venomous.

The Asiatic Cheetah (Acinonyx venaticus) is a species of big cat native to Asia, it once had a larger range, but it is now found only in Iran, it is one of only two living cheetah species, there are four known subspecies of asiatic cheetah: the †Caucasian Cheetah (Acinonyx venaticus caucasicus), the †Arabian Cheetah (Acinonyx venaticus arabicus), the Iranian Cheetah (Acinonyx venaticus iranensis), and the †Indian Cheetah (Acinonyx venaticus venaticus).

Is strange how some of the oldest places inhabited by human are now some of the least known in the modern world especially of the western world the "New World" at least to colonizing Europeans theold world is now the new frontier portrayed by U.S gov to be stone age unknown land with only few terrorist tribes open to be colonized and stolen iran is so beautiful and held on to their culture and dignity so sad to see americans have been lied to for years about this beautiful country for reasons of political and capitalist gain.
