Hi Marlise...die vrou wat my groot gemaak het was 'n Boesman gewees. Haar ma het in my ouma se huis gewerk, en sy het saam met my ma groot geword. Haar naam was Meidjies Jordaan.Ek het altyd vir my ma gese dat Meidjies was my regte ma, want ek het ongelukkig nie 'n verhouding met my ma gehad nie.Meidjies het my gebad, pak ge-gee, in die bed gesit, gesoen elke oggend as ek skool toe gaan en baie in die veld geneem en goed vir my geleer wat ek natuurlik vergeet het. Ek wens ek het moeite gedoen om die Boesman taal te leer praat. Sy het ook altyd vir my familie gese dat ek haar kind was. Met haar afsterwe het hulle 'n ou foto van my gekry in haar Bybel. Ek mis haar geweldig en wens so ek kan meer doen vir hulle behoud.
