you there from australia, there is a real treasure, which are koalas. After the event that was the terrible fires, we are always cheering for the koalas, defenseless animals. Every day, I ask God to take care of you, and I thank you for taking care of the koalas, you are true heroes, for taking care of the koalas, agent here from Brazil, we love koalas, they are the most beautiful animals in nature. In those places that have koalas, it would be possible to put a sign saying: beware koalas, for drivers to slow down, and avoid running over them, close to the tracks
@KoalaGardens4 жыл бұрын
yes we have huge signs, even ones that flash lights if cars are going too fast. the problem is that drivers have to do the right thing. thank you so much for caring :)

I saw Angel! What a lovely sight! I truly wish the girls would hurry up and come back, Katrina. I want to see the babies so badly, as I'm sure you do, too. Thank you for such an informational video! Now I know how to tell which trees are the koalas' favourites, and how to tell them apart. You certainly have a lot of different trees from what we have here in America. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you don't have oak and maple trees in Australia. Do you have pecan trees? They only grow here in the Southern states. Pecans are delicious! Looking forward to the next video! Your friend in America, Val🙂💖🐨
@KoalaGardens4 жыл бұрын
Good question! Oaks, Maples and Pecans are grown here but none of them are natives. Pecans are delish to eat for sure :)
@ecclestonsangel4 жыл бұрын
@@KoalaGardens oh! I didn't know you had them! They are native to America. Pecans are soooooo good! And they are good for you! Have you ever had pecan pie? I love it! My mum can make it so it's not icky sweet. I like to top it with whip cream.(the real stuff, not that awful Cool Whip!) My mum has spoilt me with her homemade pies. I can't eat pies at a restaurant anymore. My mum bakes her piecrusts with butter, so they are light, fluffy and flaky. You just know the restaurants are cheating and using shortening. Yuck! I don't care if they do use butter flavoured shortening, it is NOT the same! Butter and lard are NOT bad words! Everything in moderation. My mum even uses butter to make her cookies.(or do you call them biscuits in Australia?) They come out perfect! Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. I must stop, as I'm making myself hungry, lol!🤣😛😛😛
@KoalaGardens4 жыл бұрын
@@ecclestonsangel yes many things have been introduced here from all around the world sadly. Your mum sounds like a great cook, glad you can enjoy her bounty :) we do call them biscuits here. I'm not much of a sweets person, more of a greens, vegies and savoury person :)
@ecclestonsangel4 жыл бұрын
@@KoalaGardens well, some things had to have been good. Everything can't have been all bad. Yes, my mum is a great cook, and an even better baker! She makes excellent baking powder biscuits for when we have chicken and biscuits with gravy. It's a real Southern dish. Southern US, that is. In the South, we'll eat gravy on almost anything. And we like it nice and thick, so it "sticks to your ribs," as the saying goes. We even eat gravy on our fries. It's delicious! I love savoury things a lot, but I've got to have my sweeties, too. Just not a lot, and I don't like my sweeties icky sweet. That makes me feel like my teeth are going to fall out ok f my head! I like my sweeties a bit on the tart side. I love chocolate, but it has to be a bit tart, if that makes any sense. Salted caramel is delish. It's sweet and savoury. I'm one of the few people still allowed to eat regular table salt, and I don't have a limit, because both my sodium and potassium are dangerously low. I don't go crazy with salt, though, because even J can only tolerate so much before I find it disgusting! I certainly wouldn't eat it on ice cream or ham or a salad! Gross!

It's not fair to koalas to lose their habitats because humans need trees and land to build houses and buildings. It's impossible to bring koalas to different countries because there's no more space for koalas to live in Australia. They have to live where they are born. I hope more and more people see what's been happening to koalas and think what we should do. Thank you🐨❤💚
