I've never seen that in my life. That play was all effort and it could be very insightful of what he can become as time goes on. What a play.

This is an experience problem, not an ego problem. These young dudes embody the Spurs perfectly, but don't have the best playmaking/vision rn. They need time to gel, and to maybe pick up a good playmaking veteran. Also.. Pop don't care about what people payed to see, he cares about the development of his rookie's body/stamina, skill, and team chemistry. They can't expect him to iso every play and play 40 minutes for 82 games as a rookie. They also need to test the metal of the others to see if they should stick around down the road.

As observed in the 5 mins of OT: 1. Victor was not calling for the ball as much as he should’ve 2. He was never given the ball on the left side of the paint. Is it that his field goal % is lower from the left side? Just my observations. The Spurs need a big man in the paint to block shots, rebound, outlet, post up, and score. This, will leave the others in the perimeter to shoot their jumpers. They will not go far without a big man in the paint. Trade deadline is still a ways away. They have been out-rebounded 91-88 total in the first two games. That is okay, but it is only two games. They have the L.A. Clippers tonight. If they had a big man in the paint we would have won by double figures in both games. His put backs, blocked shots, rebounds, and rebounds/outlets for fast breaks. This would be the total package. It is okay though. Pop will build around him. The Spurs have been my team for decades.

The refs assesed it as offensive goal interference. Like goaltenting but the offensive olayer touched it, not defense. Basicslly, you can't touch the ball when it is still on top of the ring.I think it's already out, but that's what the refs called at least.

If they don't allow the defense to touch it, then to be fair, they must not allow the offense too. Else, it would be unfair for the defense not to be able to jump yet when the offense can.
