I would suggest getting up and quoting the below Scriptures: “And Eli said to Samuel, “Go lie down, and it shall be if He calls you, that you shall say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.’ ” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. Then the Lord came and stood, and called as at the other times: “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel said, “Speak, for Your servant is listening.”” 1 Samuel 3:9-10 NASB2020

Sometimes, we want to focus on the good qualities of people. But most of their behaviors are not good. Your dad did what he could but he wasn’t the best person or a good person but he was to you. I wondered if you’ve gone to therapy. This mindset is dangerous because you’ll settle for less when it comes to your significant other and suffer the samething. Tia thank you for your testimony!
@Tia_RockАй бұрын
Hi Kelly, thanks for watching. To answer your question… yes, I went to therapy as well as wise counsel with my mentors. I acknowledge my dad wasn’t the best of person in my childhood, but to also bring more clarity… my dad was actually saved later in life. He gave his life to Christ and began walking with the Lord, made reconciliation with my mom, siblings, and I. He apologized. Him and my mom became the best of friends later in life. Soon after he passed away! So he made his mends and was forgiven. A/b my husband, I’ve been married 9 years… there was no settling (not sure if that part was towards me or a general statement) however; my marriage is truly Blessed and orchestrated by God. My husband was and is a big part of who I am today and the glory goes to God. I am now a mental health therapist helping others heal and break trauma. Thanks again for watching.

Great testimony unfortunately end time truth is being misrepresented and presented as hate by those who don't love theur neigbias themselves. But we are the true descendants of Judah and that truth doesn't mean others can't be saved and are not part of the kingdom and grafted in. I suggest you listen to the late Pastor Stephen Darby. He was NOT a Black Hebrew Israelite but preached the truth about why we are in the condition we are in and who we really are.

@UnpackingJoyАй бұрын
I say this with love but there’s no way you should be a daddy’s girl. That’s trauma babe. Your dad was not healthy and he was not a good father. I’m sorry. Unfortunately we often times fall in love with our fathers even when they abused us. This leads to abusive adult relationships and poor boundaries. You can still honor him and love him. But daddy’s girl no. Good father no. He put you in danger
@Tia_RockАй бұрын
@@UnpackingJoy I’m glad you went back to read my response and got clarity. Making statements as such without all of the info can be misleading. I can understand b/c I didn’t mention it in the video. I have always been able to discern and see my father’s flaws for what they were and never tried to dissociate from that. I loved my father b/c he was my father. Thanks for watching.
