An elderly lady taught me sign language. The smile on her face when I walked into work...we could talk across a crowded, loud workplace and no one knew what we were saying!😂 I have a strong country draw. She told me I signed the same way and would laugh😂 Our friendship was a lasting one. Her and her husband came to my wedding. I spent more time talking with her than my own family members. She was so happy for me and it showed with every expression. She's gone now and I miss her. This movie reminded me of her in the warmest way💖 Love comes in many forms... friendship is a gift from God. Thank you for sharing this movie. So very different and so very special.

The opening got me had an awful experience once, was in really bad shape and it was visible, trying to hitch a ride and it was blistering hot. Thought I'd loose me mind, too hot to live. Nobody would give me a ride. Got more and more desperate. Then along comes this shy teenage guy in his tractor. Out of all the people, he stops, helped me aboard, ( like I say, in bad shape), & goes out of his way to get me home. Never a word from his mouth, just his heart, bless him. Like I say, this took me back to a special day in my life. Special, because of him......

Not an action movie. But it drew me in because I was raised in a small town in South Dakota. This film is well done, sweet, wonderful characters, great script and amazing to see Beresford, SD highlighted. Big thumbs up. 😁👍

One of the best movies I ever seen!!! That actor is simply amazing he really play that character perfectly... My father was a deaf man he couldn't talk he used signe language...I remember how frustrated he was when people couldn't understand him... But he was a very friendly man ..may his soul rest in peace.. Very good acting and directing, I enjoyed watching that movie. Thank you so much.

Soft, delicate and sensitive film. A film that brings generosity, where the essence of love is sought and found without shouting, and even adjustments to human differences are a lesson for all of us in this current crazy world in which the material aspect of life is what governs relationships interpersonal. In this divided, polarized, violent world, full of wars that make us sick with sadness and impotence, a film like this is a balm, it is a way of creating, of renewing hope, even if we no longer believe in a peaceful world. It was wonderful to transport myself to this beautiful place, with kind, supportive people who respect and support each other. Thanks for sharing.

WILD PRAIRIE ROSE. un bon film américain qui aurait mérité une Palme d'Or à Cannes, mais qui est passé inaperçu en France. Le thème du handicap y est abordé avec finesse grâce aux comédiens dont le jeu si réaliste qu'il nous fait oublier la fiction. Les seconds rôles ne jouent pas, ils sont , eux aussi! Le spectateur étranger se trouve transporté dans une famille américaine, toute simple, du Dakota du Sud, dans les années 50. On oublie ce voyage dans l'espace et dans le temps, loin des clichés habituels sur les Usa. On parvient même à comprendre le langage des signes et l' américain; le sous-titrage incompréhensible devient inutile, grâce à ces interprétations si naturelles. A voir et à revoir..

Wonderful movie, with simple people, no need fancy things, just take life as it comes, true love between two differents persons, but true love is just be like as you are, no need artificial things, I loved the firelight was magical moments, as we can't find anymore on a world so stressing like we live now, so I enjoyed so much watch this unique and so beautiful love story, with a lovely happy ending. 🌹💕

Maravilhoso filme, além dos personagens principais, adorei a transformação da jovem filha da amiga; a fantástica actuação da mãe, tão calma, segura, forte e frágil ao mesmo tempo. Os pirilampos e o sinal que descobriram para os nomear - mágico!! Parece que também eu estava a pisar aquela relva Logo na primeira cena se nota que a Rose é voluntariosa, pela forma como se move enquanto espera a boleia que não chega - uma pessoa assim pensa por si própria, desafia o pré-estabelecido; mas aprende quando confrontada, e ensina também - humildade e fragilidade também na mesma personagem. Que actores excelentes!!!!!
