Today we went on a thrilling adventure exploring a confluence of a brook and main river! Not seeing any luck at the confluence I decided to move up the brook to find some nice WILD trout to cook up! Not long after we started to adventure we stumbled across a beautiful fishing hole. 2 cast in and I had a good fish on! thinking it was a brown trout but I was pleasantly surprised. Turns out it was a big wild rainbow trout! The water was very shallow in the brook but we still got it done! 🎣🏔️🔥 Don't forget to subscribe for more epic adventures! 🏞️🎣

Wild rainbows are awesome. I’ve only had the privilege of getting one tiny native bow when I was really little living in Alaska. Now, in the area I fish in CT, they are extremely rare.

There’s only very few spots around me with wild rainbows but they are always super tiny it was awesome to actually catch one that was worth eating! Alaska sounds so sick to fish!
