The support role is a critical position in League of Legends that helps the team survive and achieve victory. You play an important role in the beginning of the game by assisting your shooter, providing map visibility and offering strategic support in team fights. You can increase your effectiveness in the support role with basic strategies such as protecting your teammates, tracking enemy movements and controlling the bottom lane.
