For me it truly depends on your play style. Like I recommend not playing mid lane Soraka unless you have an aggressive play style cos most of us Soraka mains actually prefer playing more safe during early game and we know to stay back. I like the idea of Soraka mid but I know I probably won't know how to make it work. Guess it'll need some practice before we try this on ranked. All in all, pretty good guide. I love the way you explain your reasons for items and how you deal with situations ❤

If you want to be really aggressive in teamfights, build Mandate + Rylai's and ideally Cosmic Drive (or Morello if you need it) because you definitely want your S3 on a low cooldown. Then drop your S3 on a group of enemies and they just...die. They can't escape the silence because of the slow, while it amps the damage they take by a ton and allows your teammates to chase with the speed boost. These items also make Soraka very tanky and difficult to deal with thanks to all the extra HP and movement speed.

Dude that's what I have been doing but my team flames too much, it used to be also very popular during artensensor meta and played in top as her ult is global u get free assist gold and your basic attack are understamated too much hence enemy play boldly and did to your auto lol.

I love to Play Soraka Mid even before People Noticed itplus its morely defensive and a counter to skill user that channels their abilities Plus you mostly build her as a support without the Starter Item plus you only Level Up the seccond move Once and focus heavy on the 1st and 3rd skill You could still build arden sensor and it is still a must have for Soraka to build arch Angel to Spam that first skill and 3rd Skill on the Enemy. Despite dealing Lower damage than Any mage or Assassin you are more Annoying than any of them. Plus you could still go for First Strike for that Poke Build going with Liandry/Boots of Mana/Arch Angel staff/Rabadon and Rylai Scepter Your goal is to Heal and deal Poke Damage and you heal your Teammates across the Map. Rune Wise its First Strike/Scorch/Cheap shot/ Eyeball or Zombie ward/Future Market or Manaflow

Do you think shield bash is better?, Also, would you recommend soraka for top as well? Imperial mandate could be consider good if your E can mark every single afflicted enemy and your all or most allies benefiting from the speed. Reminds me of Orianna speed support which l love to use.

I actually enjoy playing soraka mid from time to time too but haven't since the runes update 😆 I usually go for a burn+ speed+ cdr build to run around and spam first skill The new boots will be so fun to play tho, can't wait Edit: in a good game I do 30k damage btw xD

To be honest soraka does pretty crazy dmg with full AP burst mage items. I played around with soraka mid a while ago and didnt build support items. She can 1 shot champs like ahri with a electrocute combo
