Honestly i use mejai now when i play nami and its a huge game changer!!! Made me realize that as i support i can also heavily inflict dmg and harass without being lux or another mage :) thank u papa broken and happy xmas!

Even when they’re losing your teams are playing a lot better than before you hit Master 😂. Feels like you can play support normally again. I just hit Master again and have had the same experience in my current games. I hit Master in a 9 game win streak doing the “Inting Sion” Strat on every role, every champ, didn’t change my champ pool at all. I even did it with Alistar and Swain support. For those who don’t know, Lich Bane is the AP version of Hullbreaker. Get Lich and just keep stacking AP and you’ll do as much damage to towers. Ever seen a Fizz one shot a tower with auto attack +W? That’s how. Infinity Orb crit also damages towers. Nashor’s is solid too.

You need to come and see the top server sonas in SEA. The scores are so inflated to the point that bad players got boosted and are in top 50 or sth. I used to be top 100 earlier this season, now I have to grind my way back and its a tedious, tedious task. The score for top 200 is 9300+ btw lol. Its either a pick or ban. Out of 10 games, she gets banned for 4 games, gets picked in the enemy team for 5 games. That leaves me only 1 game to play her and its still a coinflip because even though im master almost 10 marks, ppl still play like gold (or iron on PC) lololol. Classic SEA server. I don't like mejais on her. She needs more ability haste in irder to spam skills, and mejais cant give that. Meanwhile, there are both staff of flowing water and crown that can provide you with mana and haste. Also to anyone still not convinced about glacial on her, please try it. Its op asf and saved my ass so many times. I have less success with her using aery (post reworked, aery was solid before she got reworked). Its not as powerful as the old green passive but its gonna save you from champs that can run you down. Aery is fking useless right now imo, survivability wise.

One day I got my ass dominated by a sona and i main support. It was so bad I told myself I am gonna learn sona! So I did now she is my main and I’ve been climbing so fast with mostly MVP every game. Early game is a bit rough as she bleeds mana but once you get boots and tear is stacked I can just back lane their carries for hours without having to recall 😂 Don’t get a blue buff on her either or it’s over! Issue is she gets hard focused soon as they notice I’m the problem 😂

I’m not Papa Broken but I would recommend building Oceanid’s trident if the enemy team has Seraphine with full cdr enchantress build. I went on 14 games win streak with her 😄 Double shield with healing every 6 seconds late game is kinda broken.

I'm still an Aery Sona (and Aery Janna) fan. The truth is, everything works with Sona rn. I won't be surprised if full tank Sona works as well. Full AP Sona mid works. Hi friend! Don’t know if other sona skills have this interaction. Toplaners are usually champions capable to split push, pressure lane and handle 1vs2 situations by going bruiser or tank. Sona top is trolling, your team will be the ones getting punished by it

If you build Harmonic and Mana Revival, like Broken, her healing will still be awesome. I build this against burst damage like Brand. For more sustain, I still prefer Aery. But there is a great variety of how to build Sona now imo. If you need more carry potential, Lich Bane isn't bad. If you need a general utility support, can go the Ardent-SoFW route. Wanna try smth fun - run Soraka's movement speed build with Cosmic. Sona can build anything in this patch and rock.

@@kmies8260 let me start from the end: you need Ardent when you have a few teammates scaling with attack speed, such as Jinx, Ashe, Master Yi, Vayne, Kai’Sa, Tristana, Twitch, Kayle, Yasuo and more. If your adc is one of these (most adc don’t mind having more attack speed, actually), building Ardent early might be a priority. You can build Staff of Flowing Water to reduce your teammates’ cooldowns (and have better cooldowns and more mana yourself), so as long as you have at least one Mage or an adc that relies on using abilities a lot (Kai’Sa, Jhin, Miss Fortune, Ezreal), this item is worth building. You still always need to start with the Tear on Sona, and build it into Archangel later. It depends how much later or sooner, I usually look on my team, try to assess how much we would benefit from this or that utility item, so sometimes I prefer just to finish Archangel first. I haven’t built Mejai’s on Sona yet, I think it’s a good investment in her though especially in solo queue. As for Soraka’s movement speed build, type the request in YT search and my video where I put the whole build and strategy explanation into the description should be the 3rd one from the top. I deeply apologize to the channel owner for promoting my video in his comment section this way, it’s an unintentional KS. And I haven’t tested Sona with MS build much yet, but if one can throw in Mejai’s that isn’t strictly a supp item although a beneficial one, then why not try it with Cosmic. I wonder how much I would lag with it lol, I lag a lot at the full build late game as Soraka, but it’s part of the fun. It’s just that Sona doesn’t really need this build bc of her third ability, on the second thought.
