Fyi Horizon Focus is not weaker than Luden's on Syndra early (and Ahri and few other champions), it just has no AoE benefits; that's because Syndra can reliably proc HF twice per rotation even without ulti, while you can only proc Luden's once in a 1vs1 trade. I would still recommend getting both, Luden's helps clearing waves and roaming early and can pop up enemy Crown and Edge of Night spell shields in teamfights.

Regarding Ludens vs Horizon: i don't play syndra so i dont know what a typical combo is, but I'm guessing at lv 8 (when they got the item) a typical trade is first ability (with four points) then stun with third ability (with only one point). This deals 275 +100% AP damage. When you combine this with ludens stats and passive, you end up with 468.5 damage. For horizon, it's 471.25. so in terms of damage when proccing the passive, they're nearly identical. So I'd say the argument for/against one would be based more on the other factors, e.g. ludens easier to proc, getting mana vs HP, 5 more ability haste and AP vs 200 gold cheaper, etc

@@jonathanbalderas1722 yeah but the actual skill of 2 is picking up the closest ball and throwing it right? But if there’s no ball Syndra will create one to throw but the damage is reduced to 80%. Read again the second ability and you will understand :)

I prefer ludens too because you're gonna 1 shot them in late game anyways. What do you think about cosmic drive on her, if it's good then when should I build it?

Nah, it's never worth it on Syndra, there are better situational items, like Crown, Awakened Soulstealer, Morellonomicon, Trident, Horizon Focus, Infinity Orb.

One question why does he buy two ap books insted of prophets pendant for yhe armor pen???

Because 2 books give 50 ap for 1000 gold. While the pendant give 30 ap + 12 penetration for 1000 gold. It is recommended to buy 2 books to gain higher ap. similarly, It's recommended to buy 2 books instead of Blasting Wand if you have 1000 gold too. Eventually the book will upgrade to the Pendant and Wand. Getting more ap is more efficient.
