You should use short q's for faster auto attack reset when taking turrets, creeps or jungle. And you gotta be a little bit aggressive on your opponent since you have better trades and sustain. If that ashe ult didn't hit morde, you would probably die at that first encounter just because u didn't properly utilize your early game strengths against morde.
