Some great shots Aweh...our Yellow tail are same species as in Oz and NZ... however a 18kg tail is considered small by their standards! Your channel just popped up in my feed whilst I was uploading a Bear report! Liked and subbed!

Hey some really cool stuff there. Love those Red steenbras. Just keep in mind those Hotspots don't stay " hot" if you don't keep their location a secret and if you not selective about what you take off them. Those hot spots are few and far between these days and they easily killed off. Happy hunting.
@aquamatt4225 Жыл бұрын
Hey man, appreciate it 🙏🏻 of course those Hotspot will remain top secret and my dad and I have made a decision to only shoot something there if it's a pb, just going to enjoy watching the fish rather than shooting.

Howzit Matt..nice footage..your comment about the yellowtail being a different species to the one in Australia and NZ is incorrect. It is the exact same species as we get here. Seriola lalandi.. if we had bag limits and minimum size limits on our yellowtail as well as quotas for the commercials, our yellowtail would get just as big as the NZ fish.. they don't get a chance to grow that big because of the fishing pressure on them. NZ fish have to be 75 cm which equates to a fish of about 5kgs and the bag limit is 3pp/day..
