Just picked up two at total wine for $46 each! Can’t wait to try it this weekend. WT101 and Rare Breed are my go-tos. Such under rated bourbon! God bless Jimmy Russell!

wow great video. an amazing bottle to kick off an adventure I'm sure you guys will never forget. I had a similar reaction, when I opened my bottle... the smells were incredible and the whiskey was delicious. I don't think I've ever described whiskey that way. Kudos to Mr. Russell for putting out an amazing release at a reasonable price! They easily could've priced this bottle at $70-$80 and I still would've bought it. Now I bought 4x.

Currently doing a full shower remodel. We stuck an empty bottle of this in the wall. We liked it a lot as well.

My cat (who looks just like yours) always joins me for tasting sessions too! Felix loves to smell the bourbon for some reason. I agree, the 70th anniversary is very good!

It’s great bourbon. Almost as good as the best Kentucky spirit camp Nelson bottles I’ve had. I just hate that they still chill filtered it like it was a standard bottle of 101. Great review y’all, and kick butt on your runs!

Definitely ready for the new rig tour. Also... how do you keep the cat in the van? I'm a single dad of 5 and my sons and I are thinking about building out a van and would like to take the cat, but I feel like he will definitely get out.

When Mavis did her thing how did you not crack up? OMG and that rolling around in the outro. Okay okay back to the whiskey. I wonder if the non chill filtered version(duty free bottle) compares. Good luck on the marathon or is it an ultra marathon? You are inspiring me to get off the couch and walk my cat. Baby steps eh!

Illinois? Are you doing Tunnel Hill? I did the 50 there in 2017 ... a 100 (or a 50) is hard no matter what, but if you're doing Tunnel Hill, it's likely the easiest 100 miler you can do. I ran my 50 on a twisted ankle, which probably wasn't the best idea ... but I trained for 6 months, so I wasn't about to bail (: Good luck ! ! !
