You take the aluminium handles off the hoovers but you never taken off Dyson's the Dyson's have a huge aluminium pole inside of them lift up the top bit on the end of the handle and pull the red bit out in there is an aluminium tube there

I take them off any that I can get them off quickly. With the yard being a mess you cant goof around as much as we used to.
