I’m here with Calypso’s heiress campaign to give a quick personality sketch of her to those who don’t yet know her. Calypso is: - Independent, never asking for help or attention - Resilient, suffering the losses of her siblings without acting out in response. She lost three of her sisters and nearly lost the fourth. I’d even argue that she had it the hardest of the pups. - Mature and responsible, though she’s proven herself to be energetic and playful she’s never caused trouble or thrown herself into harm’s way for attention like the other pups have. - Thoughtful, this is a pup that watches more than acts and learns from the mistakes of others - Close to her father. She often goes out of her way to spend time with him. I’m sure she’s learned some of Genesis’s quiet faithfulness to his pack and steady, confident leadership. - Often overlooked and neglected, but she’s never asked for attention. - Loyal. She stayed by Marigold’s side as she died, along with her mother. Unlike Arrow, who keeps his distance from the rest of the other pups, she sticks by them. She’s a quiet, steadfast support to her siblings. I can easily imagine that she was still looking out for Achilles while her older sisters were sick despite being just a little older. Both Parsley and Marigold regularly wandered off (Parsley in search of adventures and Marigold in search of her parents) while Calypso stuck close and looked after her runty little brother, who was often left behind on his older sisters’ adventures. She was the littlest sister who took on more responsibility and cared for Achilles. She’s similar to Nightlight, one of the most popular Moon Pack wolves. He and his brother Atlas were the only surviving pups of their litter. While Atlas was goofy, distracted and prone to getting into scrapea, Nightlight stayed in the shadows and was (along with his daughter and protege, Moondancer) arguably the most powerful, ruthless and determined heir of the Moon Pack. He was dark-furred and subdued like Calypso and used his unassuming nature to his advantage. Calypso’s name means “she who hides”, and she’s certainly willing to stay in the shadows for the good of her pack. I can see her using her wisdom, patience, maturity and resilient strength to lead the next era of the pack with quiet dignity and humble grace. Lastly, she has a space-themed name (Calypso is a star named after the Greek mythological figure) which is only fitting for our pack.

To recover a pup knowledge you'll need for further wolf pup raising, if a pup is sick, be sure to mark all your territory hexes to 100% (Parsley recovered because of that), bring lots of food so the sick pup is not hungry, and spend time with your pups, play with them. I hope this helped.

Looks like bringing sick pup over to food (regurgitates, chunks, fawns) and seeing that they eat does help. One of my wolves has a pup a bit looking like Marigold, but grayer. His name's Comet, kept him fed as much as Nightshade (mother) could. He had hit 13 health, nothing more I could do but had to sleep. He survived. What I did notice though, was the paw icon prior to his recovery no longer glowing when near. Possibly a hint?

Calypso reminds me of nightlight -more timid then bold -independent which made him one if not the strongest most independent wolf in the moon pack -lurks in the shadows more then the other pups making her a loner? -maybe she’s a loner trying to grieve the loss of her sister and just needs some time to herself -I think she would be a strong leader much like how nightlife was

Another photo tip! In photo mode, if you hit the right arrow key it will skip all your wolves forward a micro second. Sometimes your wolves are just a second away from the perfect shot, so it helps to make those micro adjustments to your photos. I find that when my wolf is interacting with her mate it particularly comes in handy. For whatever reason, when you make micro adjustments in photo mode they’ll automatically turn to look at each other or learn into each other more than if you let the emote run through normally. It makes for more affectionate, less awkward mate photos.

@@Atticusratticus Actually, no, they won't. Scarlett is right, they pose no real threat to you and will run unless you attack first (which is why they fought back in previous episodes). If Genesis dies, a side quest will start where Seri can choose one as her new mate. Only pack wolves will try to steal territory and kill your pups.

They won’t harm your pups or your territory. If a dispersal has attacked you it must be a bug. Dispersals only attack if they’re being attack like any wolf with any sense in their head. As long as you don’t seek a fight with them you’ll be okay.

Honestly, I'd like to see little Achellies (Hope I spelled his name right!) carry the pack legacy! it'd be really fun to see who he picks as his mate, how many pups they have, what kind of prey he likes to hunt the most (Like his mother, Meadow!), and all the other adventures that are a part of WolfQuest! Edit: 4:02 - I love how, in ABC order, the pup's names go from youngest to oldest, and they also go from the smallest pup (Achellies) to the biggest pup (Parsley)!

I think Calypso is a lot more like Nightlight, with a quieter, more mature sort of strength that never asked for attention. Parsley is more Atlas like. While Atlas was more goofy and distractible (often getting him into trouble with bears), Nightlight got things done with a sort of brutal efficiency. Calypso’s name means “she who hides” and that’s what she did. All the other pups differentiated themselves by scaring their parents in some way, while Calypso chose to be more responsible and self controlled. Calypso never explored far or got sick like Parsley, never got lost like Marigold, never gave her mother a scare like Arrow did when he hid, never held the other pups back like little Achilles (though she was the second-youngest), and she stayed safe from predators. I think she’s more responsible than the other pups. She ultimately chose to be overlooked, though she’s obviously as energetic and playful as Parsley. She bore the weight of losing three sisters and nearly losing the fourth quietly (though she and Arrow both slept near Marigold as she died). I think she has a resilience the other pups don’t have. She seems to be closer to her father than her mother, who never quite had enough time to give Calypso the attention she deserves. Two episodes ago, she regularly broke away from the other pups to spend one-on-one time with her father, perhaps the only one on one time she ever received. The death of her two sisters made her realize early on that it was a dangerous world and her parents were fighting to keep them safe, so she never gave them cause for concern. I think her resiliency, humility and responsibility give her an underdog appeal that’s made her well-loved by the fans. She deserves a chance to shine and to come out of the shadows.

Seri it actually takes time for them to gain weight. Once they’ve eaten, sleeping or just spending a lot of time, or going out to hunt and returning, gives them time to grow/gain the weight. It’s not instant after they’ve consumed meat :)

Seri did you know that when you complete slough creek you get a family screenshot so when towerfall comes out you can go there. Also you can still play when you complete the slough creek and after you finish slough creek you can go to meadow to click the family tree which then click the pups and click play as wolf and it justs makes them into a playable wolf so you dont have to make them

Seri this morning I went outside to pl play and I heard some bird under the bush in our yard and then I heard baby birds sounds (they were really loud) so I went over a recorded them. (Because I thought it was cool to see birds have baby in winter). After that I went inside and when I came back the baby's were gone and so were the nest. It made me so sad but then my mom told me some stray cats must have done something 😔. (Sorry I just wanted to share)

She never once left Marigold and Parsley’s sides and she is always taking care of her weaker brothers. I feel like Marigold mostly wanted to be with her mother which I don’t really like because she needed to learn how to fend for herself. And even though I love Parsley with my whole heart I just think she’s a little bit too mischievous to be the heir. Calypso is just so determined and cares about everyone, and she never gives up. She would make a great mother and teach her pups how to be real wolves. I think Calypso would be the best choice for the heir.

Marigold may need to fend for her self but most of the time the more confident ones are more likely to die than the reserved ones. It’s about survival for animals and surviving is about being very watchful and sticking to places which are safer like in this case sticking with your family. Here's my thoughts on each of the surviving pups, and why they should be the heir/heiress to the Moon Pack. (R.I.P. Marigold, Daisy, and Bluebell) (TLTR located at the bottom of the comment) Parsley - Parsley seems to be a popular candidate. From what I've seen, she's adventurous, brave, yet loves playing with her siblings. To me, she would seem like one of the first pups to leave their family to become a dispersal. She's the biggest and oldest pup, and has probably learned a lot from the close encounters her parents have had with predators nearby the den, or more likely, the rendezvous site. She's independent, and would probably learn how to hunt quickly and efficiently. Given her size, she'd be able to catch rabbits and mule deer fine, but probably wouldn't have a problem catching elk either. Arrow - Arrow isn't a very popular opinion from what I've seen, but I don't see why he couldn't have an exciting tale! Like Parsley, Arrow is extremely independent. He would either be the first or second pup to leave and explore the world. Arrow, though smaller than his older sisters, is extremely fast. He would have better luck catching rabbits and mule deer rather than elk, but that would be all he needs to live his life. While independent, he's also curious, cunning, and daring, always looking ahead to new things or waiting till the last moment to hide in the tall grass, like when his family would switch homes, or when he'd hide away just before predators started attacking. Perhaps, if he was chosen to have a small series, Arrow would instead find himself in Lost River Valley, where adventures and excitement are a plenty? Calypso - While her remaining sister, Parsley, has taken many people's votes to be the heiress, Calypso has a few strong-willed supporters behind her. She's partially remained in the shadows, and we haven't got to see much of her personality. But, Calypso is only just behind Parsley size, and age wise. She's quite likeable, and would likely be able to take almost any game; rabbits, mule deer, elk, without much trouble. I would imagine Calypso liking the lower regions of Amethyst, the meadows and rivers at the bottom of the valley, like her mother, avoiding too much attention from the packs and dispersal wolves. Achilles - Achilles, while being the runt, has shown a lot of playfulness and character. I believe he must have loved every one of his siblings, from the ones who are still around, all the way back to Bluebell. He might be the smallest, and take the longest to grow, but his size grants him speed, allowing him to catch rabbits without blinking, and a better chance at catching deer than his sisters. Being the runt meant Meadow paid plenty of attention to him, up to where his sisters got sick. I'd imagine he loved playing with his mother, father, and siblings, and enjoyed going on brief adventures to bury bones or play hide and seek in the grass. Achilles would probably be the last to leave his family, after losing his sisters and being a smaller wolf, but I could imagine Achilles trying to make friends with the dispersal wolves on Amethyst, wandering all over, narrowly avoiding encounters with the pack wolves, and possibly finding a mate, either someone as playful as himself, or someone more serious to keep him out of trouble. I'll admit, Achilles isn't the best choice to be an heir, but his story holds so much, if we would give him a chance. TLTR: - Parsley is a good choice. She's a popular vote, and shows much independence and strength. She's the biggest, and would have an easier time hunting elk than her siblings. - Arrow might not be the wolf to inherit the pack, but would have fun and exciting adventures, and would possibly find himself in the Lost River. - Calypso is one of the other popular opinions. She's a reflection of Nightlight, a more quiet wolf, who sticks to the shadows and doesn't draw attention to herself. She's about as big as Parsley, and could hunt bigger game. - Achilles, although small, seems fun and loveable. He might not be the most popular choice to inherit the pack, but his story would be fun, and full of close scrapes with other wolves he might try to befriend.

Saw someone campaigning for Calypso so ima make one for the lovely Parsley Parsley a dark little pup always on the look out for adventure. Unlike Arrow who is less social, she interacts with her sisters, brothers and two lovely parents Meadow and Geniuses. She’s loyal, adventurous, brave playful and made stronger by the dreadful sickness that took away her poor sister Marigold. These are great characteristics for wolf to lead a strong successful pack. From past experience with the sickness that took away her sister and almost took her life as well she would try her best to protect her pups from it. She wouldn’t be afraid to take on stranger wolves to protect her own nor any other predator. She’s a great candidate vote Parsley.

I think the fact that he's the runt of the litter, yet also the most audacious would make for a really interesting background. More than once, Achellies would be seen outside of the safety of the den and tall grass watching his parents fend off enemy wolves and a cougar. I feel that he aspires to test danger's limits and show that he's more than just the runt. He's like a little daredevil. I'd love to see Seri use him for a more daring/fearless gameplay.

I raised my seven pups around the mcbride lake area for their early life. It's a great place! Just gotta make sure you're territory is north of the lake so you don't have to swim back and forth all the time. Love the series and can't wait for the next generation

I think Achilles should inherit the pack, as he has the most unique fur color out of all of his siblings, he would help the story line with proving that he is strong dispite his size, and he's a Mother's boy, so I feel like Meadow would have him take the pack!

I don't know, proving himself would be interesting to see but I also feel like he's kind of sensitive and would break down if one of his pups died or something. I personally think either him or Parsley would have the best storyline as heir though

Killing a stranger wolf (dispersal or otherwise), counts as a territory claim, apparently. My wolves have quick literally had enough of stranger wolves and coyotes trying to nab their pups, that they'll definitely follow their trails to either kill them, or chase them far enough away. A few packwolves lucked out in that case.

I just want to say that, for 1, I love this series, and 2, I don't think Daisy's death was your fault, simply because I think the game requires at least one pup to die when you first have them. I just got the game and a couple in-game days after my wolf had puppies and was about to sleep I heard a growl, so when I woke up I sent my puppies into the den right away. A cougar came out right after, and I know that all my puppies were in the den, yet for some reason two of my pups wandered out, getting one of them killed. This can also kind of count to people as a warning.

I chose one of the dens right next to the lake and it was amazing...but also flooded so I moved until fleas happened then moved once more after my strongest pup got sick. Xeno almost died (10%) but seems like he’ll get to 20 pounds soon.
